New gutters get installed in three scenarios: a new build, an extension joining the existing house, or a full system replacement when the old gutters have given up. We handle all three across Limerick & Clare.
Most new-build installs are PVC (Brett Martin Cascade or Floplast Hi-Cap) at €45/m fitted - sized for the roof area, with brackets every 600-700mm on exposed runs. For premium homes we install aluminium or seamless aluminium with concealed brackets.
For extensions, the trick is matching the existing gutter profile and colour so the join doesn't look like an afterthought. We carry the standard Irish profiles and can colour-match where needed.

When you're adding to an existing house, the new gutter has to match the old in profile and colour. We carry the standard Irish stock and source heritage colours where needed.
03 Full system replacement
When the existing run is too brittle, sagging or under-sized for repair, replacement is the right call. Tear-out + new install in 1-2 days for most homes.
04 Conservatory + sunroom gutters
Box gutters and bespoke runs around conservatories and sunrooms - tricky on a residential install but our day job. We've fitted hundreds across the Mid-West.

How much do new gutters cost on a 3-bed semi?
A standard 3-bed semi (30-35m of gutter) is €1,400-€1,700 + VAT in PVC, €2,000-€2,500 in aluminium, €2,400-€3,200 in seamless. Tear-out and disposal of old gutters is included in every quote.
How long does a new gutter install take?
Most semi-detached homes done in 1 day. Larger detached homes 1-2 days. Conservatory or sunroom additions add half a day for the bespoke detailing.
Do you work with self-builders?
Yes - we install on self-build new homes across Limerick & Clare. We coordinate with the builder's snag list and can supply RAMS / insurance certs in advance.
Can I match my existing gutter colour?
Yes - we carry the standard Irish white, black, brown and anthracite profiles, plus aluminium colours. Heritage cast-iron-style profiles in cast aluminium are sourced on order (3-5 working days).
